Meet Mavis, a 51lb bundle of joy who is essentially a puppy in a permanent state of enthusiasm! Mavis is a sweet-natured girl with a heart of gold and a personality that is as big as her love for her people. Whether she is engaging in a high-energy game of fetch or melting into your side for a long afternoon nap, she is always looking for connection. Mavis is the ultimate social butterfly with her canine peers; she loves playing with dogs of all sizes and treats every furry friend like a long-lost sibling. While she is wonderful with adults, she does require a home without small children. Because Mavis can be a bit of a "nervous Nelly" and struggles to communicate when she feels overwhelmed, she needs a calm environment where her boundaries are respected. Mavis is house-trained and crate-trained, though she may occasionally have a "nervous tinkle" when startled or overly excited. She is an ideal apartment companion for an active owner who can provide structured play and mental stimulation.
